1.1 The following sections relate only to Safeguarding Today Limited, and does not cover any organisation which is linked to our website.

 

1.2 Safeguarding Today Limited is committed to ensuring that your personal details are kept safe online. Information about yourself that you provide to us through this website will be used for the purposes stated. The Data Protection Act 1998 is fully complied with, and Safeguarding Today will not share your personal details with any third party.

 

1.3 From time to time, Safeguarding Today will carry out an analysis of information to produce statistics. All information used will be anonymous and any personal details will not be shared. The purpose of analysis is to improve services provided by Safeguarding Today Limited. We will not use the information in any way which enables you to be identified.

 

1.4 Your information may be used by us to send emails from Safeguarding Today Limited. Your information will not be passed to third parties without your consent. If you do not consent, please contact us by emailing [email protected]

 

1.5 The information you have supplied to us will be stored in a local database and in our Customer Management System.

4. Face to Face Training

4.1 Safeguarding Today Limited provides products and services in an advisory capacity. The client must still comply with their own legal duties and responsibilities.

 

4.2 Safeguarding Today acts in good faith and is committed to providing high standards of information quality. Every attempt has been made to provide accurate, relevant information. However, Safeguarding Today Limited gives no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information provided in their training and accepts no liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused as a result of reliance on such information.

 

4.3 The client is solely responsible for filtering any information received from Safeguarding Today Limited into its own activities, based on the client’s own judgment.

 

5. Payment

 

5.1 The client accepts that an invoice reflects the fact that a client has placed an order with Safeguarding Today Limited and has entered into an agreement to receive training by the company, as specified in the invoice.

 

5.2 Payment is due upon invoice receipt.

 

5.3 We will exercise our statutory right to interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to these terms.

 

5.4 Safeguarding Today Limited reserves the right to charge interest at a monthly rate of 8% on the outstanding invoices. Interest and late payment fee will be calculated from the date when the invoice becomes overdue.

 

5.5 Safeguarding Today Limited reserves the right to seek recovery of an outstanding balance sixty days from the date of invoice(s) via collection Agencies and/or through the Small Claims Court in the event that the outstanding balance does not exceed £3,000.00. In such circumstances, the client shall be liable for any and all additional administrative and/or court costs.

 

5.6 We do not accept cheques. All payment is through BACS to the Safeguarding Today Limited Current Account.

 

6. Cancellation Policy

 

6.1 We accept a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period if the booked training is more 14 days before the training date. A full refund will be provided to the client in the event of written confirmation of cancellation by email to [email protected]

 

6.2 Refunds are available as follows:

More than 28 days before confirmed training date 100%
14-28 days before confirmed training date 50%
Up to 14 days before confirmed training date 0%

 

6.3 In the event that the client cancels the booking within one calendar month of the training date, there will be no refund.

 

6.4 If any attendees do not attend on the day of the training, that is an internal issue between the client and their employee. The client will owe the remaining 50% as invoiced, regardless of any staff absences on the day. Safeguarding Today Limited will provide future training to any absent members of staff, but invoice at the usual rate, all terms and conditions of this contract applicable.

 

7. Confidentiality

 

7.1 We undertake to respect and protect individual disclosures made by staff or organizations. However, if there is significant concern about the safety or security of any vulnerable person, Safeguarding Today Limited will raise the concern directly with the client (unless safeguarding the vulnerable person is a priority over information sharing)

 

8. Complaints

 

8.1 If the client has a genuine complaint about any aspect of our service, please contact the Company Director. Any complaints will be dealt with within 48 hours of the complaint being made. You will receive an acknowledgement email within 48 hours, and then a progress report within 30 days of the initial complaint. If you are still unhappy, then a face to face meeting with the Company Director can be

Arranged.
